Homies and Helpers

These images are scans of plastic toys pinned together. These little sculptures were moved while the scan was recording to create a ghost image. My interest on the toys was triggered by the stereotypical representation of students I was servicing. The scanning was a way to cares the sculpture and probe it to release its armor. I saw it as a way of melting the forms to release something else less specific.
